I want to talk to you about the evolution of your coaching business.
What to do if your business is struggling or even if it is stable, what’s the next level? And how do you get there as quick as you can?
I’m also going to talk about time management.
What’s the number one time management tip if you want to get clients quickly?
And third, we’re going to talk about webinars.
How to get people on to your webinar, what to do on the webinar, and what to do after the webinar if you want to sign up clients for your very next one.
The Biggest Challenge When Trying To Grow Your Coaching Business
The biggest challenge that I see with coaches when they’re trying to grow their coaching business is that they spend all their time or so much time chasing bright shiny objects.
You’ve probably done, I’ve done it, we’ve all done it.
You see a good idea over here, so you do that or your friend says, “This is the way I grow my business, you do what I say.” You are in a teleconference and hear about a particular course and you’re always been pulled this way or that way or this way. The problem with that is you’re always in the slow path or hard path which is inventing the new thing.
The invention is what’s killing your business.
Focus on Improvement
Instead of invention, I want you to pick the one strategy that works and focus on improvement. Every single time you do it and improve it, do it and improve it.
When you focus on improvement you’ve got enough cycle times, enough doing improved cycles that you can get the traction you need, improve yourselves and get the clients you need fast.
The Four Distinct Phases in Your Coaching Business
I don’t know where you’re up to your coaching business right now but every coaching business to get to the top because there are four distinct phases in its evolution.
We start up at struggle you know between $0-10k a month and there the focus is going to be on how to get more clients.
Next step between $10-20k a month you are in what I call stability. You’ve got enough clients that are going to be okay. Maybe the pressure is off, maybe a little bit, but you’re not thriving.
At that focus you know, there’s definitely a desire for more money.
Phase 3 is about success between $20-40k a month. Other the coaches look up to and maybe compared to them you’re doing really well. But you know there’s another level, right?
Yeah! All of a sudden you’re doing okay but what you need right now is more time.
The fourth level – the peak is called scale between $40-80k a month or more.
So I want you to notice:
Where are you right now?
Are you in struggle or stability or success or you up in scale?
Wherever you are, know where you are and what the next level looks like.
If you’re in a struggle right now then the next level is to get the stability.
The Million Dollar Coach Implementation Program is the best place for that.
If you’re in stability or above then maybe Black Belt is something you should check out in the future.
So what it really takes to build a system that brings you leads every single week?
Well, the very first thing is going to take from us a little bit of time.
How do you find more time?
It’s really simple. Every week is made up of 14 half days. Think about it 7 days, every day is you know morning afternoon – 14 half days.
All I want you to do is to take one of those half days and dedicate that half day aside to work on your business not just for your clients. The successful coaches aren’t the one you dedicate their whole life to their clients.
I know that you’ve got to be your own best client first. Take one of your half days, work on your business – specifically work on your marketing.
I recommend Monday morning. First thing I call Marketing Monday.
So let’s talk about webinars.
Webinars Tips for Coaches
Of all the most successful coaches I’m working within Black Belt – the one thing that we all have in common is the ability to fill a webinar and to sell on the webinar.
Let me give you a quick peek inside the webinar selling system. There are four systems you need in place if you really want to get people on your webinar and introduce them to your program and invite them to join.
Four Systems for a Successful Webinar:
The first one is you need the system that gets people to sign up – that’s your promotional strategies.
Next, just because they’ve signed up does it mean they’re going to actually attend?
So we need a system to get them to show up.
Once they’ve shown up, it’s all about pay up.
Actually, delivering an incredible webinar of 60-90 minutes to get people engaged. Keep them to see what’s possible for them and get them to take the next step.
Fourth, is the follow-up. At the end of the webinar, you’re going to have people who showed up, people who bought and people who didn’t buy. You need a different follow-up system that each of those three groups.
Let’s just recap:
- Show up
- Pay up
- Follow-up
Take action this week. Get yourself some more clients.
